Their play style on the stage is what you have never seen before.Ambitious guys started a band in 2014, in Tokyo. They named the band ROA, and they have been playing on the stage since.Music they create is based on their Asian culture and experience of Western culture.Using Japanese, English and KANJI and phrases in lyrics, they write witty literature.Rules are not applied to this band. Their policy is "和洋折衷," which means blending Japanese and Western. Authenticity is now in question. What is Japanese and what is not? What kind of baby would be born if Western and Asian reproduce? Would it be merely a "mix" ?If there is an answer to such questions, ROA must be the one.
